The Real Causes of Cellulite

What are the real causes of cellulite? Toxins? Circulation problems? Water retention? Cellulite treatment companies have filled the web with bogus claims about the causes of cellulite. Many of them are purely made up to help them sell their scammy products. The truth is, there are a few very simple causes of cellulite that can be eliminated naturally without any expensive creams, pills, or other gimmicks. Cellulite is just a made up word for the dimpled orange peel look that many women have on their thighs and butt. It’s not some special type of fat made up of toxins, excess water, or lack of circulation. Clinical tests have shown that it is exactly the same as any other body fat. These common myths are the reason many women are unhappy with their treatment programs. The real causes of cellulite are much more broad and actually very simple. The most common causes are:

*Hormones
*Specific foods
*Genetics
*Lack of appropriate exercises

Trying to flush your body of toxins by eating vegetables and drinking lots of water will get you nowhere. There are no toxins in your cellulite. However, there are specific foods that do cause excess fat storage in the problem areas and cause hormone imbalances. This combination increases fat storage in the thighs and butt, and also breaks up collagen fibers which thins the skin and damages the muscle.

This can be combated with a highly targeted exercise program and some very specific dietary changes. That’s all there is to it. There are many natural products and foods that can rebuild collagen, and tighten and tone the muscle and care skin around the cellulite. Once you put your body back in cellulite fighting state, you won’t need any creams or other junk to see results. You’ll achieve real, lasting cellulite reduction.

Prevent Foot Blisters – 6 Tips to Assist in Preventing Foot Blisters

Foot blisters can be both unsightly and painful and are unfortunately common in today`s active society. All of us at some point in our life have had a foot blister. They are caused by a number of factors, friction, heat and swelling and the following tips will assist in preventing them occurring.

· Buy well fitting shoes – this is true for preventing a range of foot problems. Ideally, they should not rub anywhere, even from the beginning. If necessary, add insoles or heel cushions for added protection and comfort. Choose shoes that `breath` well and inspect the inside of shoes for any seams or worn areas as these may result in extra friction and subsequently foot blisters

· If you know that you are `blister prone` or likely to be undertaking lots of physical activity, then make sure that you always wear good socks and apply adhesive felt or moleskin to areas on your feet that frequently blister.

· Sprinkle powder into shoes and/or socks daily to reduce the possibility of friction.

· Do not use socks that show evidence of being over worn or torn. Thin areas and holes within the socks may result in the formation of hot spots and blisters.

· Consider using two pairs of socks if undertaking substantial physical activity. Alternatively, invest in a sock with double layers to aid in blister prevention.

· Many people swear by petroleum jelly as a blister preventative. Many distance walkers e.g. marathon walkers and sports enthusiasts use lubricants on their feet.
